How do I convert a CrossTec Remote Control or CrossTec SchoolVue EVAL to the full product?

Summary

If you downloaded an Evaluation of CrossTec Remote Control or CrossTec SchoolVue and have now purchased a License you can run the CrossTec License manager as detailed below.
 
Details

To enter new license details:-

For CrossTec Remote Control

  1. Go into C:\Program Files\CrossTec Remote Control
  2. Double Click on the file called PCILIC.EXE
  3. Enter in the required information
  4. Select Generate
  5. This will report that the License file Successful created and that the Output is in nsm.lic.

For CrossTec SchoolVue

  1. Go into C:\Program Files\CrossTec SchoolVue
  2. Double Click on the file called PCILIC.EXE
  3. Enter in the required information
  4. Select Generate
  5. This will report that the License file Successful created and that the Output is in nsm.lic.

Note: The License details need to be entered into the PCILIC.EXE exactly how they are displayed on the License sheet as the software is CASE Sensitive.

You do not need to do the above on all of your Clients machines. If you generate the license key on one machine and then use our Deploy utility to distribute this license file to the other machines that have CrossTec Remote Control or School installed. For details on how to do this please see the Below instructions:

For CrossTec Remote Control

  1. Go into Start > Programs > CrossTec > CrossTec Deploy
  2. Highlight the Clients you wish to deploy to
  3. Right Click on these Clients and select Deploy > CrossTec License File
  4. Select Properties
  5. Browse to the nsm.lic License file (normally in C:\Program Files\CrossTec Remote Control)
  6. Select ok
  7. Select Deploy

For CrossTec SchoolVue

  1. Go into Start > Programs > CrossTec SchoolVue > CrossTec SchoolVue Deploy
  2. Highlight the Students you wish to deploy to
  3. Right Click on these Students and select Deploy > CrossTec License File
  4. Select Properties
  5. Browse to the nsm.lic License file (normally in C:\Program Files\CrossTec SchoolVue)
  6. Select ok
  7. Select Deploy

Note: It is only possible to Deploy CrossTec Software to NT based machines
